                            RESOLUTION NO.   19838  
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF MARKET STREET, MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, ON THURSDAY,
                   MAY 13, 1993 FROM 9:00 A.M. TO 11:00 A.M.
                   FOR THE "POLICE MEMORIAL CEREMONIES," UNDER
                   CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
                  
                   
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of northbound and southbound Market Street
       between 6th Street and 7th Street from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. 
for
       the dedication of the Law Enforcement Memorial.  An access lane
       for emergency vehicles shall be provided at all times.  The City
       of Chattanooga will provide, install, and remove barricades and
       warning signs as required in the attached traffic control plan. 
       The Chattanooga Police Department will provide traffic control.
